Walter Wilson & Co (Glasgow) Ltd was incorporated in May 1919 to carry on the millinery business of the Grand Colosseum Warehouse Co in Glasgow. The company's registered offices were at 60 Jamaica Street, Glasgow. In August 1936, the company was taken over by Dallas's Ltd, drapers, of Glasgow. In June 1938, the name of the company was changed to Dallas's Colosseum Ltd. In November 1942, the company was acquired by Fraser Sons & Co Ltd. In 1947, Fraser Sons & Co Ltd was liquidated and its assets, including Dallas's Colosseum Ltd, were transferred to House of Fraser Ltd. Dallas's Colosseum Ltd went into voluntary liquidation on 16 November 1957.
