Biography:
Robert Keenan was appointed secretary of Fraser Sons & Co Ltd in 1940. In 1941, he was also appointed secretary of the newly formed House of Fraser Ltd. In December 1947, at the time of the liquidation of Fraser Sons & Co Ltd, he was appointed a director of House of Fraser Ltd. In 1953, at the time of the takeover of Binns Ltd by House of Fraser Ltd, he joined the board of directors of Binns. He also held several other directorships including McDonalds Ltd and John Barker & Co Ltd. He died on 7 April 1961.
